Intensitas curah hujan yang tinggi di Indonesia berpotensi menyebabkan bencana banjir di Kota Cimahi yang secara geografis terletak pada lembah cekungan dan menyebabkan melimpasnya air ke wilayah Kota Cimahi. Berdasarkan data sekunder, terdapat sembilan titik banjir yang terdapat di Kota Cimahi dan delapan diantaranya berada dekat dengan kawasan Sungai Cilember. Tugas akhir ini membuat peta 2 dimensi lokasi rawan banjir yang disebabkan oleh luapan Sungai Cilember pada setiap periode waktu. Peta dibuat interaktif dengan membangun sebuah sistem informasi geografis pada lokasi titik banjir, titik lokasi survei eksisting, titik lokasi pengukuran penampang sungai, dan titik penampang sungai pada setiap STA dengan informasi berupa lokasi, koordinat lokasi, keterangan kedalaman banjir, solusi banjir, serta gambar. Pengolahan data diawali dengan analisis hidrologi dengan hasil debit banjir rencana pada periode 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, serta 100 tahun yang akan digunakan untuk analisis hidrolika menggunakan software HEC-RAS dan memetakan daerah rawan banjir menggunakan software ArcGIS, lalu peta tersebut diolah menjadi sebuah sistem informasi geografis yang dibangun dalam software ArcMap. Produk Tugas Akhir ini adalah peta luapan banjir akibat Sungai Cilember pada periode waktu 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, dan 100 tahun berbasis sistem informasi geografis. Perbedaan hasil sebaran banjir yang dihasilkan pada setiap periode ulang tidak tampak signifikan, namun perbedaan dapat terlihat pada ketinggian banjir tiap periode ulang. Manfaat dari tugas akhir ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi kerentanan kawasan banjir kepada Pemerintah Kota Cimahi untuk menangani permasalahan banjir yang terjadi hampir setiap tahun di Kota Cimahi.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

The high intensity of rainfall in Indonesia has a potential to cause catastrophic flooding in Cimahi City which is geographically located in the valley of basin and causes the overflow of water to the Cimahi City area. There are nine flood points in Cimahi City and eight of them are located near Cilember River area. This final project creates a 2-dimensional map of flood areas caused by overflow of Cilember River. The map is interactively by constructing a Geographic Information System (GIS) at location of flood point, location point of the existing survey, location point of the river crossing measurement, and river crossing point at each STA with the information of location coordinates, flood depth, flood solutions, and images. Data processing begins with hydrological analysis that will be used for hydraulic analysis using HEC-RAS software and mapping flood-prone areas using ArcGIS software, the map is processed and become a GIS that built in ArcGIS software. This Final Project's product is an overflow flood map caused by Cilember River over a period of 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 years based on the GIS. The difference in results of floods distribution generated in each return period doesn't appear to be significant, but the difference can be seen at the height of flood every return period. The benefit of this final project is to provide information on the vulnerability of the flood area to City Government of Cimahi to deal with flood problems that occur almost every year in Cimahi City.
