Sistem otomasi saat ini berkembang sangat pesat, didukung dengan pesatnya perkembangan di bidang lain seperti komputerisasi, pengendalian, komunikasi dan lain-lain. Selama ini di Program Studi Elektronika PLC sering digunakan untuk pengendali ON-OFF, akan tetapi dengan hadirnya PLC jenis baru dari Mitsubishi yaitu FX3U-16M membuat mahasiswa bisa belajar mengenai pengendalian sistem kontinyu menggunakan PLC. Oleh karena itu perlu dibuat suatu modul agar PLC ini bisa digunakan dan diuji. Proyek akhir ini membahas mengenai perancangan dan realisasi Modul PLC Mitsubishi FX3U-16M Dengan Aplikasi Sistem Kendali Level Air Pada Couple Tank. Modul pengendali ini dirancang supaya tidak hanya digunakan untuk pengendali level air saja akan tetapi bisa juga untuk mengendalikan sistem yang lain baik sistem kendali ON-OFF maupun sistem kendali kontinyu karena PLC Mitsubishi ini memiliki kemampuan untuk mengendalikan sistem analog.
Deskripsi Alternatif :Automation systems is currently growing very rapidly, supported by the rapid developments in other fields such as computing, control, communications and others. During this time, the Program study of Electronics, PLC is often used for ON-OFF control but with the presence of a new type of Mitsubishi PLC FX3U-16M is making students can learn about the use of PLC in continuous control systems. Therefore it is necessary to make a module to make this PLC can be used and tested.
This final project discusses about the design and realization of Mitsubishi PLC FX3U-16M Module With Water Level Control System Application In Couple Tank. Controller module is designed to not only be used to control the water level alone but also for other systems to control both ON-OFF control systems and continuous control systems because Mitsubishi PLC has the ability to control the analog system.
