Manajemen proyek telah diimplementasikan pada bidang konstruksi, mencakup sejumlah aspek perangkat dan teknik manajemen proyek dari awal sampai penyelesaian akhir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan hubungan antara penggunaan perangkat dan teknik manajemen proyek dalam pelaksanaan konstruksi dengan keberhasilan proyek. Lingkup dan pembahasannya dilakukan terhadap elemen inti manajemen proyek, yaitu manajemen lingkup proyek, waktu proyek, biaya proyek, dan manajemen kualitas proyek. Data sampel diambil secara acak berstrata, dengan instrumen kuesioner yang dikirim kepada perusahaan kontraktor besar dan menengah. Data yang diambil adalah tingkat penggunaan perangkat dan teknik manajemen proyek yang digunakan oleh responden kontraktor menengah dan besar, mencakup: program perkantoran, gantt chart dan kurva S, bottom-up estimating, laporan kemajuan, pelaksanaan inspeksi, kick-off meeting, work breakdown structure, dan penetapan lingkup pekerjaan proyek. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan perangkat dan teknik manajemen lingkup, waktu, biaya, dan kualitas proyek, secara bersama-sama berkorelasi secara signifikan dan berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan proyek. Koefisien korelasinya sebesar 0.701.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

Project management has been implemented in the constructions field, covering a number of aspects of project management tools and techniques. The objective of this research is to find the correlation between project management tools and techniques usage, and the success of the project. The scope and discussion of this research are scope, time, cost, and quality of management. Data collection have been done using stratified random sampling techniques, questionnaires were sent to middle construction contractors and large contractors. The usage of the project management tools and techniques of the middle and large contractors are as follow: the usage of software for office work, gantt chart and S curve, bottom-up estimating, progress reporting, inspection, kick-off meeting, work breakdown structure, and project scope statement. Based on the results of data analysis and discussions, it is showed that the usage of project scope, time, cost, and quality management tools and techniques in construction fields, have a significant correlations and an influence to the success of the project. Correlation coefficient for both of middle and large contractors are 0.701.
