Perancangan Katalog Gastronomi Sunda merupakan upaya pelestarian gastronomi tradisional di Jawa Barat. Gastronomi mengalami perkembangan seiring dengan perubahan kelas sosial, budaya, dan gaya hidup. Peran gastronomi adalah menjelaskan komponen-komponen seperti sejarah, tradisi, sistem kepercayaan, dan cerita rakyat yang berkembang dalam masyarakat dengan makanan sebagai pusat kajiannya. Terdapat beberapa kekhawatiran warisan kuliner nusantara memudar karena persaingan kuliner pascamodern dari negara asing masuk ke Indonesia. Melihat gastronomi memiliki potensi yang sangat besar dalam sektor ekonomi dan pariwisata, maka gastronomi perlu digali, dilestarikan, didorong dan dibina pertumbuhan serta perkembangannya. Jawa Barat didominasi oleh budaya sunda yang menghasilkan beragam jenis masakan favorit wisatawan. Katalog yang akan terbentuk nantinya mampu menjadi acuan informasi terkait budaya masakan sunda. Memfasilitasi wisatawan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman terkait produk gastronomi sunda di Jawa Barat. Serta menjadi bentuk dedikasi dalam melestarikan budaya sunda, dan mengembangkan wisata gastronomi di Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Katalog, Gastronomi, Gastronomi dan Pariwisata, Gastronomi Tradisional.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

The design of the Sundanese Gastronomy Catalog is a traditional gastronomic preservation effort in West Java. Gastronomy develops along with changes in social, cultural and lifestyle classes. The role of gastronomy is to explain components such as history, tradition, belief systems, and folklore that develops in society with food as the center of their studies. There are some concerns that the archipelago's culinary heritage is fading because of postmodern culinary competition from foreign countries entering Indonesia. Seeing gastronomy has enormous potential in the economic and tourism sector, so gastronomy needs to be explored, preserved, encouraged and fostered in its growth and development. West Java is dominated by the Sundanese culture which produces various types of favorite tourist dishes. Catalogs that will be formed will be able to become a reference for information related to Sundanese cuisine culture. Facilitating tourists in improving understanding regarding Sundanese gastronomic products in West Java. As well as being a form of dedication in preserving Sundanese culture, and developing gastronomic tourism in Indonesia.
