Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Non Performing Loan (NPL) dan Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) terhadap Laba pada PT. Bank Tabungan Negara, Tbk selama tahun 2004 sampai dengan tahun 2012. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Teknik purposive sampling adalah teknik penentuan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu PT. Bank Tabungan Negara, Tbk periode 2004-2012. Data diperoleh dari Laporan Keuangan Publikasi Triwulanan dari website Bank Tabungan Negara, Tbk Tahun 2004-2012. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan persamaan kuadrat terkecil dan uji hipotesis menggunakan t-statistik untuk menguji koefisien regresi parsial serta F-statistik untuk menguji pengaruhnya secara bersama-sama (simultan) dengan tingkat signifikansi 5%. Sebelumnya, dilakukan uji asumsi klasik yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji heterokedastisitas, dan uji autokorelasi. Selama periode pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa data penelitian berdistribusi normal. Berdasarkan uji multikolinearitas, uji heterokedastisitas, dan uji autokorelasi tidak ditemukan adanya variabel yang menyimpang dari asumsi klasik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa data yang tersedia telah memenuhi syarat untuk menggunakan model persamaan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel NPL berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap laba serta variabel LDR berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap laba. Dari hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel NPL dan LDR bersama-sama mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap laba. Kata Kunci: NPL, LDR, dan Laba.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

This research conducted in order to know the effect of Non Performing Loan (NPL) and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) to the profit of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk since 2002 until 2012. Sampling techniques used in this research is purposive sampling. It is a sampling technique with specific consideration. Moreover, the sample of this research is PT. Bank Tabungan Negara. The data was obtained from the Quarterly Financial Report of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara website 2004-2012. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis by the least quadratical equation and hypothesis testing uses t-statistic to test the partial regression coefficients and F-statistics for testing the effect with a significance level of 5%. Previously, it was conducted the classical assumption test which includes tests of normality, multicollinearity test, heterocedastity test and autocorrelation test. During the observation, the data of study showed that it distributed normally. According to multicolinearity test, heterocedastity test and autocorrelation test, there are no variables that deviate from the classical assumption. It indicates that the available data is qualified to use multiple linear regression equation models. The results of study showed that the NPL variables give the negative effect and significant to the profit; moreover, LDR variables give the positive effect and significant to the profit. Furthermore, from the result of analysis showed that NPL variables and LDR have significant effects on profit. Keywords: NPL, LDR, and Profit.
