Praktikum adalah salah satu dari sekian banyak cara pembelajaran, yang dimana praktikum merupakan suatu bentuk pembelajaran yang dilakukan pada suatu tempat tertentu, dimana mahasiswa berperan secara aktif dalam menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan yang diberikan melalui penggunaan peralatan kerja, bahan kerja, objek kerja, dan prosedur kerja yang telah di perintahkan. Diantaranya adalah Trainer Unit Air Conditioner Split-Inverter, yaitu adalah suatu media praktikum pada kegiatan peraktik teknik refrigerasi dan tata udara yang memberikan gambaran terhadap manfaat dan cara penggunaan Air Conditioner Split-Inverter. Inverter merupakan sebuah alat yang digunakan untuk mengatur putaran motor kompresor dengan cara mengubah tegangan AC menjadi tegangan DC, yang memberikan penghematan pada pengkonsumsian daya listrik pada unit Air Conditioner Split-Inverter. Dari data hasil COP aktual di dapatkan sebesar 5,364 dan COP carnot sebesar 6,91 dengan hasil efisiensi didapatkan 77,57%. Kata kunci: Rancang bangun, Trainer Unit, Air Conditioner Split, Inverter.

Practicum is one of many ways to learning, which is where the practice is a form of learning which is carried out at a particular place, where students actively participate in the solve a provided problems through the use of work equipment, work materials, work objects, and work procedures that has been instructed. The Trainer Unit Air Conditioner Split-Inverter there are one of the other media practical at lecturing of refrigeration and air-conditioning study, that provides an overview of the benefits of their application and explains how to use Air Conditioner Split-Inverter. The inverter is a device that is used to regulate the compressor motor rotation by changing the AC voltage into DC voltage, which provides savings of the electrical power consumption on the air conditioner unit. from the observation, calculation, and data COP actual result is 5,364 and COP carnot is 6,91 with the result of efficiency is 77,57%.
