Pada laporan Tugas Akhir ini penulis menganalisa tentang pengaruh Frequency tehadap depth of peneutration pada alumunium pada skin pesawat pada proses NDT (Non Destructive Testing) dengan metode Eddy Curent di PT. GMF Aeroasia. NDT ini dilakukan guna Untuk mengetahui efektivitas inspeksi Eddy Curent terhadap perubahan frequency pada material aluminium dengan ketebalan yang bervariasi sebagai representasi dari kasus korosi pada skin pesawat. NDT ini juga dilakukan untuk mengetahui korosi, kecacatan ataupun adanya ketidak sesuaian tanpa merusak permukaan benda yang diinspeksi. Pengujian ini juga dilakukan bedasarkan berdasarkan pada standar terkait yaitu ASME, Section V, Article 8, Appendix ( 1 and 2 ), Electromagnetic (eddy current) testing of heat exchanger tubes, ASTM E 215 Standardising equipment for electromagnetic testing of seamless aluminium alloy tube. Kata kunci: NDT (Non Destructive Testing), Eddy Curent (ET), depth of peneutration, ASME, ASTM.
Deskripsi Alternatif :In this final report, the authors analyze about the influence of Frequency tehadap depth of peneutration on aluminum on the aircraft skin on the process of NDT (Non Destructive Testing) with Eddy Curent method in PT. GMF Aeroasia. NDT is done in order To know the effectiveness of Eddy Curent inspection on frequency changes in aluminum material with varying thickness as a representation of corrosion cases on the skin of aircraft. NDT is also performed to determine corrosion, disability or incompatibility without damaging the surface of the object being inspected. The test is also based on the relevant standards of ASME, Section V, Article 8, Appendix (1 and 2), Electromagnetic (eddy current) testing of heat exchanger tubes, ASTM E 215 Standardising equipment for electromagnetic testing of seamless aluminum alloy tube Keywords: NDT (Non Destructive Testing), Eddy Curent (ET), depth of peneutration, ASME, ASTM.
