Motor induksi tiga fasa semakin banyak digunakan baik di industri maupun non industri. Motor induksi tiga fasa digolongkan menjadi salah satu beban nonlinier karena mempunyai sifat kejenuhan magnetisasi sebagai akibat dari penggunaan tipe material magnetnya. Beban nonlinier akan menghasilkan suatu polutan daya listrik yang disebut dengan harmonisa. Harmonisa diukur dengan suatu tingkatan yang disebut Total Harmonics Distortion (THD). Dengan timbulnya harmonisa tersebut maka dibuatlah rancang bangun filter harmonik untuk mengurangi THD pada motor induksi tersebut. Perancangan filter harmonik ini menggunakan komponen pasif (R, L, dan C) atau di sebut dengan filter pasif. Selain mengurangi harmonisa, filter pasif dapat memperbaiki cos phi sehingga dengan kata lain filter pasif dirancang untuk memperbaiki cos phi tanpa memperbesar harmonisa. Pemasangan filter pasif pada beban motor induksi ini telah mereduksi harmonisa dari THDi R = 72,8 (%), S = 85,7 (%), dan T = 208,1 (%), menjadi THDi R=8,64 % S= 13,2% dan T=14,14 % dan filter pasif mempengaruhi nilai faktor daya dari 0,83 menjadi 0,98. Kata Kunci: Motor induksi tiga fasa, harmonisa, Total Harmonics Distortion.
Description Alternative :Three-phase induction motors are increasingly used both in industry and non-industry. The three-phase induction motor is classified into one nonlinear load because it has the saturation properties of magnetization as a result of the use of its magnetic material type. Nonlinear loads will produce an electric power pollutant called harmonics. Harmonics are measured by a level called Total Harmonics Distortion (THD). With the emergence of these harmonics then created a harmonic filter design to reduce THD on the induction motor. The design of this harmonic filter uses passive components (R, L, and C) or called passive filters. In addition to reducing the harmonics, passive filters can fix cos phi so that in other words passive filters are designed to fix cos phi without increasing harmonics. Installation of a passive filters on the induction motor load has reduced harmonics from THDi R = 72.8 (%), S = 85.7 (%), and T = 208.1 (%), to THDi R = 8.64% S = 13.2% and T = 14.14% and the passive filter affects the power factor value from 0.83 to 0.98.
