Cold Handling Unit adalah solusi untuk masalah penyimpanan dengan temperatur rendah. Sistem ini telah banyak berkembang berdasarkan fungsi, skala penyimpanan dan aplikasinya. Salah satu dari aplikasi sistem ini adalah untuk penyimpanan vaksin. Untuk itu penulis telah mengunakannya sebagai topik untuk merancang sistem Cold Handling Unit untuk penyimpanan vaksin. Tugas akhir ini diberi judul â"Rancang Bangun Sistem Refrigerasi Cold Handling Unit Untuk Penyimpanan Vaksin Polio". Pada tugas akhir ini, didapat cooling load sebesar 104 Watt. Sehingga menggunakan condensing unit dengan cooling capacity 113 Watt. Setelah diinstalasi kabin cold handling unit mempunyai temperatur 5,3 0C dan mempunyai Nilai COPaktual data perancangan bernilai 4,73 dan COPaktual perhitungan bernilai 3,73. Sedangkan untuk nilai COPcarnot data perancangan bernilai 6,46 dan COPcarnot perhitungan bernilai 5,12. Dan untuk nilai efisiensi data perancangan bernilai 73,2 % dan efisiensi perhitungan bernilai 72,43 %. Kata Kunci: Cold Handling Unit, Vaksin, COP dan efisiensi.

Cold Handling Unit is the solution to the problem of low-temperature storage. This system has been developed based on the function, scale and storage applications. One of the applications of this system is for the storage of vaccines. For that the authors have using as a topic for designing Cold Handling Unit systems for vaccine storage. This thesis entitled "Design And Construction Of Cold Handling Unit Refrigeration System For Polio Vaccine Storage". In this thesis,, the author obtained cooling load of 104 Watts. So using a condensing unit with a cooling capacity 113 Watt. Once installed cabin Cold Handling unit has a temperature 5.3 0C and has a design of data COPaktual value worth 4.73 and 3,73 COPaktual worth calculation. As for the value of the data COPcarnot design value of 6.46 and 5.12 COPcarnot worth calculation. And for the efficiency of the design data is worth 73.2% and 72.43% efficiency value calculation.
