Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui budaya organisasi dan employee engagement di PT Kertas Padalarang (Persero), serta pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap employee engagement. Pengukuran budaya organisasi ini menggunakan dimensi involvement, consistency, adaptability dan mission (Denison dalam Sobirin, 2009: 191). Sedangkan pengukuran employee engagement menggunakan dimensi vigor, dedication dan absorption (Schaufeli dan Bakker, 2003: 5). Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 151 responden yang terdiri dari supervisor, asisten supervisor, operator utama, operator dan lainnya (pegawai honorer dan kontrak) yang tersebar di Sembilan biro yaitu biro akunting, keuangan, litbang, logistik, pemasaran, SDM dan umum, SPI (Satuan Pengawas Internal), teknik dan produksi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, analisis korelasi sederhana, analisis regresi linier dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, budaya organisasi berada pada kategori baik sedangkan employee engagement berada pada kategori cukup. Hubungan budaya organisasi dengan employee engagement berada pada kategori kuat. Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh yaitu Y = 8,655+0,651X. Pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap employee engagement adalah sebesar 45,4%. Kata kunci: Budaya Organisasi, Employee Engagement.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

This research aim to determine the organizational culture and employee engagement at PT Kertas Padalarang (Persero) and the influence of organizational culture on employee engagement. The dimensions of organizational culture are involvement, consstency, adaptability and mission (Denison on Sobirin, 2009: 191). The dimensions of employee engagement are vigor, dedication and absorption (Schaufeli and Bakker, 2003: 5). The sample of this research as much as 151 respondents consists of supervisor, assistant supervisor, main operator, operator, and others (honorary and contract employees) which spreads in accounting, finance, R & D, logistic, marketing, human resources, internal control unit, engineering and production department. The method which used in this research is quantitative research methods. Data analysis method which used are descriptive analysis, classic assumption test, regression analysis, correlation analysis and hypothesis testing. Based on the results, organizational culture is currently on good category, compare to employee engagement that is still on moderate category. The relation of organizational culture and employee engagement currently are on strong category. The Regression equation in this research is Y=8,655+0,651X. Therefore, the influence of organizational culture on employee engagement amounted to 45,4%. Keywords: Organizational Culture, Employee Engagement.
