Penerapan kegiatan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) di Indonesia dimulai pada awal tahun 2000, walaupun kegiatan dengan esensi dasar yang sama telah berjalan sejak tahun 1970 dengan tingkat yang bervariasi. Isu-isu etika di Indonesia menjadi suatu halangan dalam pelaksanaan CSR. Terdapat beberapa fenomena yang terjadi di kalangan masyarakat Kamojang seperti sering menghirup udara yang bau, terganggu akibat suara bising dari PLTP, program CSR yang tidak berjalan kembali seperti budidaya jamur, kurangnya edukasi untuk para petani dan beberapa permasalahan lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dan citra perusahaan, serta seberapa besar pengaruh CSR terhadap citra perusahaan PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Area Kamojang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei eksplanatori dengan sampel sebanyak 177 yang dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa pengaruh Corporate Social Responsibility terhadap citra perusahaan sebesar 19,6%, sedangkan sisanya 80,4% dipengaruhi faktor yang lain. Penelitian ini dapat ditingkatkan kembali dengan menambah variabel-variabel yang lain dan menambah ukuran sampel serta melibatkan lebih banyak pemangku kepentingan seperti karyawan dan manajer perusahaan.
Deskripsi Alternatif :The implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in Indonesia began in early 2000, although activities with the same basic essence have been running since 1970 with varying degrees. Ethical issues in Indonesia have become an obstacle in the implementation of CSR. There are several phenomena that occur among the people of Kamojang such as often breathing smelly air, being disturbed by the noise from the PLTP, CSR programs that are not working again such as mushroom cultivation, lack of education for farmers and several other problems. This study aims to find out how Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and corporate image are, and how much influence CSR has on the corporate image of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Area Kamojang. This study used an explanatory survey method with a sample of 177 which were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The results of the study stated that the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility on corporate image was 19.6%, while the remaining 80.4% was influenced by other factors. This research can be improved again by adding other variables and increasing the sample size and involving more stakeholders such as company employees and managers.
