Water Pumping System merupakan sebuah pengolahan air dari bak penampungan satu ke bak penampungan lain yang dikontrol secara otomatis serta menggunakan dua buah motor sebagai penyalur aliran air. Penggunaan sistem kontrol berbasis PLC ini memberikan beberapa keuntungan dibandingkan dengan sistem konvensional diantaranya, pengoprasianya mudah, jika terjadi kesalahan dan akan melakukan perubahan sistem lebih mudah, fleksibel. Pada proyek akhir ini akan dirancang kontrol simulator Water Pumping System berbasis PLC Siemens S7- 200 untuk melakukan fungsi kontrol dan monitoring terhadap plant melalui HMI (Human Machine Interface) Vijeo citect V7.20 Sistem kerja waste water pumping berdasarkan ketinggian level air yang disimulasikan menggunakan potensimeter sebagai simulator dari floating switch. Kata kunci: simulator Water Pumping System, PLC, HMI.
Deskripsi Alternatif :Water pumping system is a water treatment tank from one tank to another tank that is automatically controlled by using two motors as well as channeling the flow of water. Use of PLC-based control system provides several advantages compared to conventional systems including, easy operation, if an error occurs is easy to repair process system. Its flexible. This final project will be designed control simulator Water Pumping System based on Siemens S7-200 PLC to perform control functions and monitoring of the plant via the HMI (Human Machine Interface) Vijeo Citect V7.20. Work system of Waste water pumping based on the height of water level that is simulated using potensiometer as a simulator of the floating switch. Keywords: Water Pumping system simulator, PLC, HMI.
