Deskripsi Alternatif :

The project is entitled "The Making of a Travel Guidebook about Pulau Tidung". Since there was no any English travel guidebook that focuses on describing Tidung Island, the project is made. The goals of making the guidebook are to inform local travelers including foreigners about the beauty of the island and to persuade them to visit. The project is divided into two main chapters, Package Tour and Individual Traveling which describes two options to head to the island. In addition, the culture and history behind the places around are also included. The data collection were taken by doing literature study, direct observation and interview. A number of theories and writing techniques were used and applied for the project such as informative writing, persuasive writing, descriptive writing and you-attitude. As a result, an English travel guidebook about Tidung Island entitled A Three Day-Stay in Tremendous Tidung has been made. Key words: Travel guidebook, Package Tour, Individual Traveling, Tidung
