Proses penyaluran energi listrik dari pembangkit sampai ke konsumen selalu ada gangguan-gangguan yang tidak dapat dihindari. Salah satu gangguan pada sistem tenaga listrik adalah over current (arus lebih). Kondisi ini dapat disebabkan karena gangguan antar fasa maupun gangguan fasa ke tanah. Dengan demikian dibutuhkanlah proteksi terhadap gangguan fasa ke tanah pada transformator menggunakan Ground Fault Relay (GFR) sehingga transformator tetap aman walau terjadi gangguan pada jaringan distribusi. Proyek akhir ini bertujuan membuat simulator sebagai alat uji rele arus lebih terhadap gangguan tanah. Guna mengetahui kinerja dari simulator alat uji ini, dilakukan pengujian karakteristik rele serta pengujian koordinasi antara 2 buah rele. Pengujian ini dilakukan pada 2 buah jenis rele yaitu rele MCGG 53 dan rele MCGG82. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, simulator alat uji ini dikatakan dapat mensimulasi dengan baik karena hasil pengujian mendekati hasil pengukuran. Kata kunci: Alat Uji, Rele Arus Lebih, Gangguan tanah, Ground Fault Relay (GFR).
Deskripsi Alternatif :The process of distribution of electrical energy from the generator to the consumer there are always distractions can not be avoided. One of the disturbances on the power system is over current. This condition can be caused by interference between phase and phase to ground disturbance. Therefore needed protection against phase-to-ground interference on the transformer using a Ground Fault Relay (GFR) so that the transformer remains safe despite an interruption in the distribution network. This final project aims to create a simulator as an overcurrent relay test equipment to soil disturbance. In order to know the performance of this test equipment simulator, the characteristics of relay testing as well as testing coordination between 2 pieces rele. Testing was conducted on two types of rele that is rele MCGG 53 and rele MCGG82. Based on test results, test equipment simulator is said to be able to simulate well as test results close to the results of measurement.
