The final project titled The Making of a Travel Guidebook About Lake Toba is a book about the amazing tourist destination and its surroundings. This final project is meant to provide more insights about tourism and travel in and around Lake Toba for both local and international tourists and investors. There are some theories applied to the present project. The theories are the definition of a guide book, definition of tourist destinations, definition of lakes including volcanic lake and freshwater lake, and writing techniques. Qualitative method is used in getting the data for the content. Through observation, interview, and library study the data was collected. The Applicable data are selected to be used in a product. The result is a travel guidebook about Lake Toba in detail as one of the must visit tourist destinations located in North Sumatra in Indonesia.
