The title of the present final project is An Analysis Of Tenses Used on Motogp Official Website Articles. The objectives of the analysis are to know the types of tenses used and the tenses most frequently used on the articles. The theory of 12 type of tenses from Azar (2002) is used in this analysis of tenses. Also, qualitative method is used for completing the analysis. The theory of data analysis used is from Miles and Huberman (2011). The analysis is conducted in two main steps: data collection and data analysis The data collection are taken from 22 articles publish on Motogp.com 22 January 2017 to 31 January 2017 . The data analysis is including data reduction, data display, and data conclusion. From 275 sentences on the articles, seven types of tenses found. They are simple past tense by 123 sentences (44,7%), simple present tense by 112 sentences (40,8%), simple future tense by 16 sentences (5,8%), present perfect tense by 14 sentences (5,1%), present continuous tense by 6 sentences (2,2%), %, past continous tense by 2 sentences (0,7%), and past perfect tense by 2 sentences (0,7%) and two tenses most frequently used are simple past tense and simple present tense.
