This final project is the writing of an informational booklet on lenong (a traditional play performance from Betawi). Lenong is a kind of performing art that usually represents the moral issues of local society such as helping the poor and battling against greediness. The aims of this final project are to document and preserve lenong. There are several theories used to conduct the project such as theories of an informational book, a booklet, writing technique, writing styles, a play performance, and lenong itself. The data were obtained by doing library study, interviews, and observation. After the data had been collected, the writing of the product was continued by making an outline, writing and revising the content of the product, designing, printing, binding, and publishing. The result of this final project is an informational booklet explaining and describing lenong which is written in English. The book is expected to encourage its readers to participate in preserving lenong. Keywords: lenong, Betawi, traditional play performance.
