One of management's jobs is motivating employees. This is needed to make employees motivated. Highly motivated employees can yield high work performance. Maslow believes that there are five levels of needs that motivate people. The five needs are physiological, safety, love, esteem, and self-actualization needs. The first three needs are called deficiency needs. The next two are growth needs. The research tries to identify the most dominant needs for the employees in PTN X. The research has found that the deficiency needs are the strongest motivation for the employees.
