This final project entitled "The Making of a Book: Traditional Games in West Java". The project was done in order to provide the information about Traditional Game in West Java and to preserve traditional games as one of culture heritage in Indonesia. The games in the book were based on the festivals held in 2011. The methods of production were used in this project such as collecting information and data, making content, writing the book, revising and editing, design of layout and cover the book, and printing and binding the book. The result of this project is a book entitled "Traditional Games in West Java: educative, enjoyable, and simple". There are tens traditional games such as Kelom Batok, Jajangkungan, Bedil Jepret, Sondah, Sorodot Gaplok, Gasing, Rorodaan, Perepet Jengkol, Sumpit, and Gatrik. The information about traditional game which are provided in the book consist of description of game, meaning of game, media of game and the way of both making media of game and playing the game. To sum up, the product is book about which contains game and culture. The book is written in English with important information such as meaning and benefit of game as cultural value. Making content and finding information and data are important lesson in this project. It is therefore recommended that mastering basic of making a good book or writing skill and the best way to find information and data are important to produce better project.
