This present project is about making Indonesian subtitles for two videos taken from TEDx Talks. The chosen videos are titled "What are unpaid internship costing us?" by Peter Bateman and "The ostrich effect: The Truth we hide from ourselves." by Ed Winters. The original transcripts of the videos are in English and then translated into bahasa Indonesia. This subtitling project aims to create Indonesian subtitles for two TEDx Talk videos. Moreover, this project aims to help Indonesian viewers so they can enjoy the content without language barrier. This present project uses translation theory from Molina and Albir (2002). The writer of this project has been granted permission as a volunteer translator by TED official team.
