Deskripsi Alternatif :

This final project is an analysis of figurative language entitled An Analysis of Figurative Language in Song Lyrics Written by Bring Me The Horizon. This project aims to identify kinds of figurative language and to get the meanings of figurative language in song lyrics written by Bring Me The Horizon. Qualitative data are used in this project. Library study is the method of collecting the data. There is one theory used in this final project that is theory by Knickerbocker and Reninger on figurative language. The result of this project is analysis of the popular eight song lyrics of Bring Me The Horizon. The result shows that the dominant of figures of speech used are personification, hyperbole and simile. Keywords: analysis, figurative language, song lyrics, Bring Me The Horizon.
