Water Treatment Plant (WTP) adalah sistem yang berfungsi untuk mengolah air baku yang mempunyai kontaminan menjadi air baku dengan kualitas yang sesuai standar mutu (Leubo, 2018). Sistem pengolahan air di Water Treatment Plant (WTP), merupakan sistem yang paling penting khususnya di industri minuman karena produk dari WTP ini akan langsung digunakan untuk proses produksi maupun utility. Di PT. Ultrajaya tidak adanya Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) dapat menyebabkan beberapa masalah seperti maintenance preventive yang tidak terjadwal terutama permasalahan ketidakefisienan kerja pompa, khususnya pompa input ke unit raw water yang jumlah penggunaan energinya cukup intensif. Adapun permasalahan yang kerap terjadi di unit raw water yaitu tidak adanya pengendalian atau kontrol level air di penampungan (raw water tank). Pada penelitian ini, solusi penanggulangan dari permasalahan diatas akan dilakukan melalui pendekatan manajemen prosedur pengendalian pompa dengan sistem otomatisasi dan perawatan dengan merancang Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) pengoperasian dan maintenance pada unit raw water di dalam Water Treatment Plant. Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is a system that works to treat raw water that has the contaminant into standard water with the appropriate standard quality. The processing system at Water Treatment Plant (WTP), is the most important system because of the product from WTP will be directly used for production process and utility. The absence of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) has caused several problems such as unscheduled maintenance preventive and caused problems in pump performance inefficiencies, especially the input pump to the raw water unit which has an intense amount of energy usage. In this study, the mitigation solution of the above problems will be carried out through a management approach to pump control procedures with automation and maintenance systems by designing a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for operation and maintenance only at many units, there are losses that are raw water, so that the appropriate production results are obtained and optimal work effectiveness of the unit.
