Karyawan merupakan komponen utama suatu perusahaan dan menjadi pelaku dalam setiap aktivitas perusahaan. Perusahaan dituntut untuk memiliki karyawan yang kompeten dan memiliki kinerja yang baik. Work engagement adalah sebuah konsep dimana karyawan memiliki komitmen dan semangat bekerja tinggi dalam pekerjaannya, selain itu karyawan membawa ide baru untuk perusahaan. Di tengah melambatnya pertumbuhan konsumsi masyarakat seiring berubahnya gaya hidup masyarakat serta munculnya fenomena belanja online membuat sebagian pasar modern melakukan efisiensi. Maka dari itu minimarket berlomba untuk menjadi minimarket yang unggul dari kompetitor dengan salah satunya memiliki karyawan yang engaged terhadap perusahaan dimana karyawan nantinya mampu memberikan inovasi layanan yang berbeda dari kompetitor lainnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui work engagement dan employee service innovative behavior yang ada di minimarket serta pengaruh work engagement terhadap employee service innovative behavior di minimarket. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 150 karyawan minimarket di wilayah Kecamatan Antapani, Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara work engagement terhadap employee service innovative behavior. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, uji korelasi, analisis regresi, uji hipotesis, dan koefesien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work engagement berada dalam kategori baik dan employee service innovative behavior juga berada dalam kategori baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work engagement berpengaruh terhadap employee service innovative behavior sebesar 28%. Deskripsi Alternatif :Employees are the main component of a company and become actors in every company activity. Companies are required to have employees who are competent and have good performance. Work engagement is a concept where employees have commitment and enthusiasm to work high in their work, besides that employees bring new ideas to the company. In the midst of slowing growth in public consumption as the changing lifestyles of society and the emergence of the phenomenon of online shopping make some modern markets do efficiency. Therefore the minimarket competes to become a superior minimarket of competitors with one of them having employees who are engaged in the company where employees will be able to provide service innovations that are different from other competitors. This research was conducted to find out the work engagement and employee service innovative behavior in the minimarket and the effect of work engagement on employee service innovative behavior at the minimarket. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. Respondents in this study were 150 minimarket employees around Antapani, Bandung. The results showed a significant positive effect between work engagement on employee service innovative behavior. The data analysis method used in this study is descriptive analysis, classic assumption test, correlation test, regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and determination coefficient. The results showed that work engagement was in good category and employee service innovative behavior was also in the good category. The results showed that work engagement had an effect on employee service innovative behavior by 28%. Keywords: work engagement, minimarket, employee service innovative behavior.
