This project report titled "A Semantic Analysis of Unilever Product Advertisement in the Internet". This study aims to obtain a conceptual and intended meaning are contained in Unilever product advertisements. This study is used conceptual approach by first defining word for word using online dictionary. The data analyzed is taken from the Unilever website. Data consisted of 26 advertisements. This study was conducted because many people do not understand the message contained in the advertisement. Theory used in this study is theory of semantic and conceptual meaning. These theories help to analyze 26 advertisements. Hopefully, public can be better understand the message and purpose in advertisiments, because this study are expected to help people find significance of the messages conveyed through advertising Unilever productsMoreover, theywere realized that these words had positive and negative points of views.
