Tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh job characteristics model terhadap employee engagement yang ada di perusahaan Citilink Indonesia. Job Characteristics Model adalah suatu pendekatan dari design of work yang menjelaskan bagaimana seorang karyawan dapat mendefinisikan pekerjaan mereka. Job Characteristics Model memiliki lima dimensi inti yaitu skill variety, task significance, task identity, autonomy, dan feedback. Employee engagement adalah suatu pendekatan dari engaged at work yang menjelaskan tentang kondisi seorang karyawan yang terikat secara kognitif dan emosional terhadap pekerjaannya. Employee engagement memiliki tiga dimensi yaitu vigor, dedication, dan absorption. Analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil distribusi kuesioner kepada 172 karyawan Citilink. Hasil analisis deskriptif dari masing-masing variabel dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa job characteristics model dan employee engagement yang ada di Citilink tergolong "baik". Hasil pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dampak yang positif dari job characteristics model kepada employee engagement, artinya setiap penambahan nilai dari job characteristics model maka akan berpengaruh pada penambahan nilai employee engagement. Dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa employee engagement pada perusahaan Citilink 22% dipengaruhi oleh job characteristics model dan 78% bagian dipengaruhi oleh hal-hal lain yang tidak dibahas pada penelitian ini. Kata kunci: model karakteristik pekerjaan, keterikatan karyawan, Citilink Indonesia.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

The purpose of holding of the research is to find out how job characteristics model impact toward employee engagement' that exist case in Citilink Indonesia. Job Characterisitcs Model is an approach of the design of work which describes how an employee can define their work. Job Characteristics Model has 5 core dimensions i.e. skill variety, task significance,-task identity, autonomy, and feedback. Employee engagement is an approach of engaged at work which describes the condition of an employee who is bound in cognitive and emotional taking action against his work. Employee engagement has three dimensions, namely vigor, dedication, and absorption. The data analysis undertaken in this study-is-the result of- the distribution of the now to the 172 employees of Citilink. The results of the descriptive analysis of each variable in the study showed that job characteristics model and employee engagement that is in Citilink belongs to "good".The-results-of-the-data-processing on this research showed that there is a positive impact of the job characteristics model to employee engagement, meaning that any additions to the value of the job characteristics model then it will effect on value adding employee engagement. From this research we can know that employee engagement in corporate of Citilink 22% are affected by job characteristics model and 78% are influenced by other things that are not discussed in this study.
