This final project is about the making a biography book on Fast Forward Records. This final project is conducted as one of the efforts to motivate people who are interested in running indie record label business. One of indie record labels in Bandung named Fast Forward Records is chosen as the subject of this project. This company is selected based on the considerations that Fast Forward Records is the pioneer of indie record label in Indonesia, it contributes a lot to the developing of indie music industry in Indonesia, and it is able to motivate other indie record labels. To expose the information about the company, a business biography book is chosen as the media. In searching the data to be the content of the book, the method used is qualitative method. As the steps in collecting the data, this project uses library study, observation and interview. Furthermore, this project also applies several theories in writing the content of the book such as the theory of biography, the theory of writing styles and writing techniques and the theory of record label as an additional theory. Those theories support the process of collecting data and writing the content of the book. As the output of this project, a business biography book of Fast Forward Records is produced. The book consists of seven chapters and it is written in English. The book is fully designed both in the cover and the layout. It as also completed with various pictures related to music.
