DLGO (Desulphurized Light Gas Oil) merupakan produk dari reaksi desulphurisasi senyawa LGO (Light Gas Oil) hasil distilasi minyak bumi. Pabrik DLGO ini direncanakan akan berdiri pada tahun 2014 di Kabupaten Cilacap Provinsi Jawa Tengah dengan kapasitas produksi 2500 ton/hari. Proses yang terjadi didalamnya diantaranya adalah reaksi hydrodesulphurization didalam reaktor, pemisahan didalam separator, dan pemurnian didalam stripper dan dryer. Bahan baku LGO yang digunakan sebanyak 2500 ton/hari dengan make up H2¬ sebanyak 80 ton/hari. H2 yang telahdigunakan di-recyclekembalikarenamasihmemilkipurity yang cukuptinggi. H2 recycle dan make-up sebelum diinjeksikan ke umpan dikompresi terlebih dahulu melalui kompresor K-01. LGO direaksikan dengan hydrogen untuk diambil kandungan sulfurnya. Sulfur yang terkandung didalam LGO adalah berupa mercaptan (CH4SH). Konversi mercaptan di dalam reaktor adalah sebesar 90,4 %. LGO memilki kadar sulfur sebesar 0,73% wt dan direaksikan menjadi DLGO dengan kadar sulfur hanya sebesar 0,07% wt. Reaksi terjadi didalam reaktor dengan katalis Cobalt Molibdenum on Alumina. Hasil dari proses ini akan digunakan sebagai salah satu bahan berkualitas tinggi pencampur minyak solar. Analisis ekonomi pabrik ini menunjukkan Break Event Point (BEP) sebesar 62,7 % dengan Internal Rate of Return (IRR) sebesar 15% dan Return of Investment (ROI) sebesar 340%, sertaPay Back Period (PBP) adalah 0,35 tahun setelah pabrik mulai beroperasi. Deskripsi Alternatif :

DLGO (Desulphurized Light Gas Oil) was a product of the reaction of desulphurization of LGO (Light Gas Oil) distilled petroleum. DLGO plant was planned to be established in 2014 in the district of Cilacap in Central Java with a production capacity of 2500 tons/day. Processes that occurred were hydrodesulphurization reaction on reactor, separation in the separator, also stripping and purification in the dryer. Raw materials of LGO used was 2500 tons/day with H2 make up is 80 tons/day. H2 which could still be used in recycle because they still have the high purity. Before H2 recycle and make-up injected into the feed H2, H2 flow had to be compressed through compressor K-01. LGO was reacted with hydrogen to be decrease sulphur content. Sulphur contained in LGO was a mercaptan (CH4SH). Conversion of mercaptan in the reactor was equal to 90.4%. LGO have the sulfur content of 0,73wt% and converted into DLGO with a sulfur content only 0.07wt%. Reactions were performed in the reactor with Co-Mo on Alumina catalyst. The results of this process will be used as one of the high quality material for mixing diesel oil. Result of economic analysis calculation were Break Event Point (BEP) of 62,7%, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 15% and aReturn on Investment (ROI) of 340%, and Pay Back Periode (PBP) is 0,35 years after the plant began operating.
