The title of this final project report is The Making of A Cookbook: 10 Kinds of Javanese Rice Dishes. The aim of the product is to introduce Indonesian food, especially Javanese rice dishes. The product is to inform Indonesian people and foreigners about the ingredients and how to cook 10 kinds of Javanese rice dishes and their accompaniments. It is also to add the availability of cookbooks in Indonesia. In making this final project, some theories are needed. They are the theory about cookbook and its elements, the theories of procedural text and descriptive text, and the theory of writing styles. The cookbook contains three chapters. The first chapter is about Indonesian and rice, the second chapter is about Indonesian spices, and the last chapter contains 10 kinds of Javanese rice dishes and the accompaniments.
