The final project is The Making of a Cookbook entitled The Delightful Taste of Pempek Pelambang. This project applied qualitative research approach. In obtaining the data needed in this project, library study, observation, and interview were applied as methods of data collection. All the information gained from library study, observation, and interview was finally selected before being used in this cookbook. Moreover, there were several theories used to assist in working on this cookbook such as theory about cookbook, elements of cookbook, writing styles, and design. The cookbook entitled The Delightful Taste of Pempek Palembang is the result of this final project. The aims of writing a cookbook are to record the food recipes especially the traditional ones, provide pempek recipes, and enrich the readers’ insight, knowledge, and skills in terms of food processing. This cookbook contains four chapters: all about pempek, tips in choosing fresh fish, cooking utensils used in making pempek, and 10 recipes of pempek. Hopefully, this cookbook can be useful for the readers who want to know what pempek is and steps to make it.
