The title of this final project is "Developing a travel book: Hunky-Dory Berastagi, a Traveler's Testimony." It is developed since there are not many books about Berastagi, especially in the form of travel writing. The purpose of developing this book is to introduce Berastagi, especially to foreigner because the book is written in English. The book is also developedto give information about several places in Berastagi and to entertain the readers through the stories. The content of the book consists of the stories and photographs about several places in Berastagi.The information about each place is mentioned based on the physical and social aspects of the place. This project is developed according to the characteristics of a good travel writing. The theories used in developing this project are narrative writing, descriptive writing, expository writing, imaginative writing and theory of travel writing. The methods used in this project are identifying topic and the focus of the project, collecting data and developing the travel book through several processes, such as prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, proofreading and printing.The result of this project is a travel book of Berastagi entitled "Hunky-Dory Berastagi, a Traveler's Testimony." It is recommended to add more stories and better photographs for a better result to those who want to develop a similar project in the future. Keywords: travel, travel writing, travel book, Berastagi
