In global era now, everything is computer based. To get the effective result from computer, that is why organizations have to pay attention on the relationship between individual characteristic differences and personnel skills and expertise who work with computer. This is because the skills in using computers are very important in determining of performance of people of using computer technology. The aim of the research is discussing empirical phenomena about individual character differences in computer skills. Are computers skills influence by demography factor (sex and experience) and personality factor (computer anxiety, computer attitudes, and math anxiety). We got the data from 229 students from engineering and Commerce, in five (5) polytechnic in Java and Bali, after that the data were analyze with regression technic. The result of data analysis shows that demography factor (sex and experience) and personality factors (computer anxiety, computer attitudes and math anxiety) influences on computer skills. In this research, mat anxiety, as personality factor, cannot be proved that it influences on computer skills.
