E-Commerce Perception: What Really Matters?

In this pandemic, E-Commerce becomes one of the best choices for people to fulfil their needs and wants and Tokopedia, Indonesiaâs largest E-Commerce application gain benefits from it with the increasing number of their monthly web visitors, but unfortunately, they suffer a data breach that leaks most of their user data online. But somehow their monthly web visitor is still rising. This study aims to analyze the importance of E-Commerce security for the user. Therefore, this study will use Tokopedia users as the respondents. This study will be conducted in a mixed-method, thus the data will be harvested by quantitative using Online Questionnaire and by qualitative using short interviews. The quantitative data will be analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) as for qualitative data will be analyzed using Thematic Analysis. The research outcomes of this study will come in a form of a guidebook concerning E-Commerce Security which can be used by both Industry and Users.
