Proyek perancangan model Visitor Hub berbasis smart tourism ini dibuat untuk menciptakan standar pengembangan Tourist Information Centre yang sesuai dengan fungsinya serta memiliki fasilitas teknologi. Perancangan ini terfokus pada Kota Bandung sebagai salah satu kota yang dicanangkan ke dalam Rencana Pengembangan Destinasi Wisata Kelas Dunia Provinsi Jawa Barat. Perancangan model Visitor Hub ini dilakukan dengan metode perancangan Nigel Cross, dengan menggunakan sistem daftar periksa (check-list). Model ini berisi informasi mengenai aspek fisik, aspek pelayanan, dan aspek program dari Tourist Information Centre. Hasil dari perancangan model ini dimasukkan kedalam buku panduan yang memuat informasi lebih rinci mengenai model yang dirancang. Buku panduan serta model Visitor Hub ini dapat diaplikasikan dalam pengembangan Tourist Information Centre di Kota Bandung.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

This smart tourism based Visitor Hub model design project was created to create a standard for developing the Tourist Information Center that is in accordance with its function and has technological facilities. This design focuses on the city of Bandung as one of the cities that is announced in the West Java Province World Class Tourism Destination Development Plan. The design of the Visitor Hub model was carried out using the Nigel Cross design method, using a check-list system. This model contains information about the physical aspects, service aspects, and program aspects of the Tourist Information Center. The results of designing this model are entered into a manual book which contains more detailed information about the designed model. This manual book and Visitor Hub model can be applied in the development of the Tourist Information Center in Bandung.
