The topic of the current final project is about the making of an informative book entitled Archaic Heritage of Batak Toba, The Legacy of Batak Toba. The book functions as a tool to promote Batak Toba culture to people who are interested and desired in knowing the culture. Then, the book is useful to introduce the Batak Toba heritage from the art and cultural perspectives, to attract the readers attention to the cultural values, and also to preserve the legacy itself. The method implemented in the study was the qualitative one. The contents of the book were collected through the interview, observation, and library study. The materials presented in the book are the traditional ornaments, traditional clothes, and traditional music instruments, along with the history. Furthermore, several theories were applied to this project. Those were the definition of an informational book, the definition of art, the definition of culture, characteristics of the informational book, writing techniques, and elements of writing. An informational book written in English with three chapters is produced as the outcome of the project. The informational book used descriptive writing, persuasive writing, and explanatory writing to captivate people's interest in the paper. The design of the book also was made as eye-catching as possible to catch people's attention to read the book.
