The present final project focuses on analysing the grammatical error based on the theory of Dulay et al. The theory of Dulay et al divides grammatical error into four types; omission, addition, misformation, and misordering. The subjects under analysis of this present final project are five travel writing products produced by English Department Students of Politeknik Negeri Bandung in 2018. The objectives of this present final project are to find out the types of grammatical error and the most frequent grammatical error made by the students. Textual analysis was applied since the data of this present final project are all in the form of text. The data were analysed by using analysing steps presented by Corder. The result showed that all the types of grammatical error presented by Dulay et al were found in the five travel writing books. The most frequent grammatical error found was the error of misformation by 75% with the total number of error 375; meanwhile, the least frequent grammatical error found was the error of misordering by 1% with the total number of error 7.
