The topic of this final project is about the writing of a poetry and photography book which is known as poetography book about parks in Bandung. The purpose of this product is to make a poetography book in order to increase people's interest in poetry, to introduce parks in Bandung and to encourage people to visit parks in Bandung, to make poetography more popular, and to add contribution to literatures in English written by an Indonesian author in Indonesia. The theories are divided into two categories: Photography and poetry. The applied theories for the photography are the theory of art photography and techniques of photography and the applied theory for the poetry is the elements of poetry which consists of voice, stanza, sound, figure of speech, imagery, diction and especially form. The poems use especially syllabic verse form which is haiku and tanka, and free verse poem to add more variety. In making the project, it firstly went through determining the theme and content of the product. The data were collected by gathering information of the parks and doing observation and taking photographs in parks in Bandung. There are 8 parks which are selected: Taman Balai Kota, Taman Lansia, Taman Sejarah, Taman Foto, Taman Pustaka Bunga, Pet Park, Taman Anak Tongkeng and Taman Superhero. To make the poems, the selected photographs are firstly classified and edited. Lastly, the photographs are processed by going through the making of outline according to the photographs, sketching, writing process using the theory of element of poetry, designing, proof-reading and printing. The result of the project is a poetography book entitled "The Park Life: Parks in Bandung through Poetography". The book consists of 20 poems with photographs in 8 chapters .It is hoped that this book will increase people's interests in poetry and build people's awareness in keeping and maintaining the parks, especially in Indonesia.
