Dalam kegiatan project management, kinerja merupakan hal yang sangat penting karena berpengaruh terhadap hasil akhir dari project. Sebuah project pasti memiliki waktu mulai dan waktu berakhir sehingga selama durasi project berlangsung perlu adanya pengelolaan kinerja. Kinerja perlu dikelola karena kinerja setiap orang berbeda-beda dan bersifat fluktuatif. Agar kinerja tetap tinggi diperlukan pemberian motivasi oleh project manager karena hal tersebut merupakan tugasnya. Namun, tidak semua project manager dapat melakukannya. Untuk membantu tugas project manager dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi yang menerapkan konsep gamifikasi. Gamifikasi merupakan penerapan beberapa elemen atau komponen yang umumnya terdapat dalam aplikasi game ke dalam aplikasi non-game. Komponen-komponen ini disebut dengan game mechanics. Aplikasi project management bernama Redmine, secara default belum menerapkan konsep gamifikasi sehingga tugas project manager untuk memotivasi belum terbantu. Pada Tugas Akhir ini dibuat suatu plug-in yang menerapkan konsep game mechanics; reward point, experience point, level, reward, badge, dan leaderboard. Plug-in gamifikasi sudah selesai dibuat dan diuji coba. Hasil ujicoba menunjukkan plug-in dapat menerapkan fitur-fitur utama yang disesuaikan dengan bidang project management, yaitu fitur manage reward point, manage experience point, manage level, manage reward, manage badge, dan manage leaderboard. Untuk pengembangan plug-in selanjutnya diharapkan dapat menyediakan fitur yang mampu mengirim notifikasi berupa email kepada user terkait perubahan nilai pada komponen game mechanics yang diterapkan. Deskripsi Alternatif :In the project management activities, work performance is a very important thing because it affects the output result of the project. A project certainly has a start time and an end time so while the project is in progress it needs work performance management. Work performance needs to be managed because work performance of each person is different and fluctuating. To maintain work performance at high level it needs motivation by project manager because it is his duty. However, not all project managers can do so. To assist the project manager, it can be done by using application that implements the concept of gamification. Gamification is elements or components application that are mostly located in the gaming applications to non-game applications. These elements or components often called game mechanics. In a project management application, that is Redmine, does not apply the concept of gamification by default, so that project manager's duty to provide motivation has not helped. So, this Final Project, developed a plug-in that implements the concept of gamification with game mechanics reward points, experience points, levels, rewards, badges, and the leaderboard. The plug-in has been finished and tested. The test result shows that plug-in has been able to implement the main features which are adjusted to the project management field. The features include manage reward points, manage experience points, manage level, manage rewards, manage badges, and manage leaderboard. For further development of plug-in, it is expected to provide feature that can send notifications via email to the user related to the changes of game mechanics type's value or number those are applied.
