The rapid and massive technological progress is one sign of the development of industry 4.0. The emergence of online hotel reservation applications is a form of technological advancement. The existence of this application is useful for making it easier for people to book hotels anytime and anywhere. This study aims to analyze factors affecting hotel booking intention through the online booking platform in Indonesia. The affecting factors could be Price, E-Service Quality, Availability, or trust, it depends on what value that represent the customer's need most which likely affect their purchase intention. This research is a quantitative research. This research is also included in the survey research with a sample of 466 respondents who use online booking platform. The inclusion criteria of respondents are aged 18 years to <50 years, have made hotel bookings online and are able to use online hotel booking applications. While the exclusion criteria are respondents who experience cognitive impairment and blindness. The data analysis method used is a simple descriptive analysis. As Indonesian traditional culture starting to shifting with modernity that allows them to decide everything they want despite the existing norm. In spite of that supports their decision. Brand image is a very strong factor when someone will decide to make a purchase on a hotel booking platform, and e-service quality is also very important to continue to be improved so that it can provide more value to an online booking platform.
