The topic of the current final project is the making of a fantasy novelette based on Greek Mythology. The main focus of the topic is fantasy novelette. The aim of this final project is to create an original fantasy story that is based on Greek Mythology. The research method implemented in developing the novelette is qualitative. Materials used to develop the novelette are obtained through several sources. They include personal experience and library study. Theories that are implemented in developing the novelette include definition and elements of a novelette, definition of fantasy and its elements, story writing techniques, and publishing a book. The story itself has been written using several techniques, such as the use of figurative language, foreshadowing, and imagery. The result of the current project is a novelette entitled Tanrong Chronicles: The Tale of Three Brothers. Hopefully, the book will be published and may attract young readers to read.
