This final project is about an analysis of types of sentences used in Wil Mara's book entitled Albert Einstein. The research aims to analyze the types of sentences used and to find what type of sentence is mostly used in Albert Einstein book. The research methodology used was textual analysis which belongs to the qualitative method. The simple calculation was used to count the frequency and the percentage of sentence types found. The results show that there are four types of sentences used which are complex sentences by 45%, simple sentences by 38%, compound sentences by 11%, and compound-complex sentences by 6%. Thus, the type of sentence which is mostly used in the book is complex sentences with the percentage of 45%. It is predicted that the book is intended to the teenager readers because the complex sentence is more complicated sentence to be understood.
