This final project is about making an informational book of four antique shops in Bandung entitled Authentique: The Treasure of Antique Shops in Bandung. The shops included in this project are Ocean Antik on Jalan Cihampelas, Ocean Antik on Jalan Astana Anyar, Pasar Antik Cikapundung, and Regita Antiques. The book has only four chapters; one chapter for each of the shops. In addition, each of the antique shops also sells different kind of antiques; Ocean Antique on Jalan Cihampelas sells Chinese vases, Ocean Antique on Jalan Astana Anyar sells Chinese teacups and plates, Pasar Antik Cikapundung’s booths sell various antiques from lamps to clocks, and Regita sells wooden furniture. This project informs completed information including the map and the history of the shops, the picture of the shops and the products, and the price of the products. The present project uses qualitative method as the method of production. The data for the production process are gained as needed by doing library studies, interviews, and observations. The present project also applies several theories. The theories are the theory of informational book, writing techniques, writing styles, types of sentences, and design.
