This final project is entitled The Making of a Bilingual Travel Guidebook about the Amazing Heritage of Borobudur Temple and Its Surroundings.This guidebook includes information about a brief history of Borobudur Temple, and it also presents the knowledge about Borobudur Temple, as well as information about souvenir, culinary, accommodation, and transportation around Borobudur. Qualitative methodology was used in obtaining data for the contents such as through observation, interviews, and literature study. This project supported by some theoretical background about travel guidebooks, writing a travel guidebook, bilingualism, and guidebook designing and its elements. The design of the book mostly used brownish color combined with gold and cream tones. Those colors represent natural color and sense of earth that were suitable for the content of the book. This project aims to provide information about travel and tourism in and around Borobudur Temple for both local and foreign tourists.
