Ambarawa is a beautiful place which has a lot of tourist destinations. This final project entitled "The Making of Travel Guide book: "Five worth visiting tourist destinations in Ambarawa" was written to promote Ambarawa as a potential tourist destination. It is made for foreigners and travelers who want to visit Ambarawa. To promote tourist destinations in Ambarawa, the final project describes five tourist destinations in Ambarawa. This project was developed based on the theories characteristics of of travel guide books, tourism, writing techniques, elements of style and elements of writing. The data collection was collected by means of qualitative approach namely library study, observation and interview. The result is a guide book which describes : Indonesian Railway Museum, Bukit Cinta Rawa pening, Monument Palagan Ambarawa, Gedong Songo Temple, and New Bandungan Indah Waterpark, together with the information about the location, the history, the activities, the facilities, the transportation tips, and admission fee.
