Cultural heritage is very valuable and is an identity for a nation. There are two types of cultural heritage; tangible and intangible cultural heritage. Traditional dance is a kind of intangible cultural heritage that has to be preserved. This final project was made with the topic of five traditional dances from East Java; Reyog Kendang, Gandrung, Remo, Tayub, and Jaranan Sentherewe. This final project is created to introduce and share information about the dances from East Java. It also contributes to the preservation of the traditional dances as cultural heritage. This product is made using a qualitative research method. The data used as product’s content was obtained from library studies, interviews, and observations. The content in this product covers the history, development, variety of movements, aesthetics, and preservation of each dance.The result of this final project is an informational book about traditional dances of East Java entitled "The Gallantry of East Java: The Dashing Dances." Through this product, there is a hope that East Java's traditional dance can be known by the people, and the dance can be maintained.
