The final project is the making of a cookbook about traditional Indonesian beverages, especially the recipes from Java Island. The aim of creating this final project is to introduce traditional Java Island beverages to English speakers. The function of this cookbook is not only to introduce traditional beverages of Java Island but also to inform English speakers on how to make the traditional beverages. Additionally, the cookbook is used to persuade readers to make traditional beverages, especially Java Island beverages. The cookbook consists of 13 traditional beverage recipes from Java Island and description of several familiar ingredients in Indonesia. The qualitative method was used in writing this project. Whereas, the data were collected using library study, observation, and interview. Besides, several theories and writing techniques were used, such as the theories concerning writing a cookbook, including the techniques and language used in writing the book. The result of this final project is a cookbook in A5 paper size.
