Hotspot Design and Realization Using Mikrotik for Minimal Internet Access Areas in Ciandum Village

Desa Ciandum yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya berada diwilayah blankspot internet. Padahal, banyak masyarakat didaerah tersebut yang membutuhkan internet sebagai faktor pendukung di bidang pendidikan dan di bidang ekonomi. Jarak dari Desa Ciandum ke daerah yang terdapat internet yaitu 2,45 km. Solusi dari permasalahan yang ada adalah dengan menyediakan sebuah jaringan hotspot. Dimana sumber internetnya diambil dari daerah yang sudah terdapat internet. Internet tersebut ditransmisikan melalui radiolink point to point dari sumber internet ke Desa Ciandum. Agar para pengguna hotspot merasa nyaman dalam berinternet maka dilakukan managemen bandwidth menggunakan mikrotik. Selain itu, agar memudahkan para pengguna dalam mengakses internet pada hotspot yang dibangun, dibuatlah sebuah sistem login hotspot dalam bentuk web server untuk proses transaksi dengan voucher/member. Jaringan hotspot berhasil direalisasikan dengan hasil yang sesuai dengan yang direncanakan. Dimana, hotspot dibangun dengan management bandwidth 1 Mbps per user dan tiga fitur pada halaman login hotspot. Selain itu, hasil pengukuran QoS mendapatkan kategori bagus menurut standart THIPON serta jaringan hotspot ini juga sudah memenuhi semua parameter QoS standart ITU.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

Ciandum Village, which is located in Tasikmalaya Regency, is in a blankspot area Internet. In fact, many people in the area who need the internet as a supporting factor in the field of education and in the economic field. Distance from Village Ciandum to areas where there is internet, which is 2.45 km. The solution to that problem there is to provide a hotspot network. Where is the internet source taken from areas where there is internet. The Internet is transmitted through a point to point radiolink from internet sources to Ciandum Village. order para hotspot users feel comfortable in surfing the management is done bandwidth using proxy. In addition, in order to make it easier for users to access the internet on the hotspot that was built, a hotspot login system was created in the form of a web server to process transactions with vouchers/members. Network the hotspot was successfully realized with the results in accordance with the plan. Where, hotspots are built with bandwidth management of 1 Mbps per user and three features on the hotspot login page. In addition, the results of QoS measurements get categories good according to THIPON standards and this hotspot network also meets all ITU standard QoS parameters.
