Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition(SCADA)Adalah Sistem yang dapat melakukan pengendalian, pengukuran, dan pengolahan data secara real time terhadap beberapa objek yang dikendalikan (plant). Pada proyek akhir ini penulis melakukan penelitian terhadap sistem SCADA, yaitu merancang simulator Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) berbasis mikrokontroler ATMega16 dan membuat simulator plant berupa miniatur pembangkit dengan jalur komunikasi antara RTU dengan Master Terminal Unit (MTU) menggunakan RS-485. Adapun monitoring plant diantaranya nilai tegangan, arus, suhu stator pada generator, serta frekuensi. Setelah dilakukanp engujian sistem, simulator yang terdiri dari rangkaian perangkat plant generator yang terintegerasi dengan rangkaian perangkat RTU, dan simulator beban, secara keseluruhan telah berhasil dirancang dan direaslisasikan sesuai dengan spesifikasi alat, fungsis etiap elemen, dan deskripsik erjanya masing-masing. Dari pengerjaan proyek akhir ini dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pengukuran tegangan, arus, suhu dan frekuensi berjalan dengan baik dengan deviasi pengukuran dari 0 sampai 5%, secara keseluruhan simulator sistem SCADA dapat berfungsi dengan baik, namun belum sempurna dan masih perlu pengembangan lebih lanjut. Kata kunci: SCADA, RTU, RS-485, ATMega16, ADC.
Deskripsi Alternatif :Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system can perform control, measurement, and data processing in real time against some object which is controlled (plant). However, at the moment the system is still too expensive for SCADA applied because it uses special devices.
This project the authors conducted a study on the system of SCADA, i.e. designing the Remote Terminal Unit simulator (RTU) ATMega16 microcontroller-based and made in the form of miniature power plant simulator with communication lines between RTU with Master Terminal Unit (MTU) using RS-485.
Monitoring of plant, including the values of voltage, current, generator stator temperature and frequency. After testing the system, the simulator consists of a series of devices that plant generator with a series of RTU devices and load simulators, as a whole as successfully developed and implemented in accordance with specification tools, function for each element, and description of each work.
End of the project can be concluded that the measurement of voltage, current, temperature and frequency goes well with deviation measurement from 0% until 5% But the whole simulation system, which is made, there are still same shortcomings, which can be strengthened in future studies.
