The title of this final project is The Making of Travel Book to Gunung Argopuro. The main focus of the final project is about hiking. Gunung Argopuro was chosen as the object of writing because it is a unique mountain. It has three peaks: Rengganis, Argopuro, and Hyang. There is also the remains of Rengganis house. The aims of the project are to inform and promote Gunung Argopuro as a tourist destination; and to entertain the readers through hiking experience to Gunung Argopuro. The research method used was qualitative. The data were collected from personal experience through observation, interview, and library study. The theories applied in making the content were the theories of travel writing, the elements of travel writing, and the theories of writing styles and writing techniques. The result is a travel book entitled Travelling to Mount Argopuro: The Remains of Rengganis House which is printed in A5 sized HVS paper with 100gsm. Hopefully this project gives some benefits to the readers, Argopuro official management, and especially hiking-enthusiasts.
