Deskripsi Alternatif :

Indonesia has proven capability of manufacturing aircrafts with various types and purposes to fulfil the international air transportation needs. This ability has ascertained with a number of fixed wing and rotary wing aircrafts which have been built by PT Dirgantara Indonesia. Thus, a project entitled The Making of Informational Booklet: "PT Dirgantara Indonesia: Product Profile" was conducted. This booklet is projected as an alternative medium for PT Dirgantara Indonesia in informing and promoting the products to international people or special guests who become potential customers visiting PT Dirgantara Indonesia. Therefore, the booklet is written in English using formal language. The booklet consists of 5 sections containing information about the company and its products, especially aircrafts. All parts of the booklet are fully designed and printed with art paper in A5 sized. The data were collected by literary study, observation, and interview. Furthermore, the project also applied some theories related to the booklet, aviation, aircraft, and the writing technique. Expository and descriptive texts were applied in writing this infromational booklet. Keywords: aircraft, aviation, informational booklet, PT Dirgantara Indonesia.
