Sistem refrigerasi brine cooling untuk pendinginan produk minuman dengan refrigeran sekunder berupa air-garam dengan konsentrasi 20% atau sebanyak 7500 gram dalam air sebanyak 30 liter yang disimpan pada kolam dengan ukuran 33 x 33 x 42 cm diaduk menggunakan agitator agar temperatur brine merata lebih cepat dan chilling time lebih cepat tercapai. Performansi sistem dikaji berdasarkan variasi putaran agitator yakni putaran penuh, putaran setengah penuh, dan tanpa putaran agitator. Pada variasi agitator dengan putaran penuh memiliki nilai COPaktual sebesar 3,39, COPcarnot sebesar 4,61 sehingga efisiensinya mencapai 74%. Sistem dengan variasi agitator dengan putaran setengah penuh memiliki nilai COPaktual sebesar 3,39, COPcarnot sebesar 4,74 sehingga efisiensinya mencapai 71%. Sistem dengan variasi tanpa putaran agitator memiliki nilai COPaktual sebesar 3,28, COPcarnot sebesar 4,59 sehingga efisiensinya mencapai 72%. Sedangkan chilling time dan konsumsi daya listrik pada variasi agitator dengan putaran penuh pada menit ke-55 dan konsumsi daya listrik sebesar 0,83 kWh, variasi agitator dengan putaran setengah penuh pada menit ke-75 dan konsumsi daya listrik sebesar 1,01 kWh , dan pada variasi tanpa putaran agitator pada menit ke-90 dan konsumsi daya listrik sebesar 1,1 kWh. Dari pengumpulan dan analisis data, agitator dengan variasi putaran penuh lebih efektif digunakan pada alat ini untuk meningkatkan kinerja sistem dan lebih hemat energi listrik karena chilling time lebih cepat tercapai.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

Brine cooling refrigeration system for cooling beverage products with secondary refrigerant in the form of water-salt with a concentration of 20% or as much as 7500 grams in 30 liters of water stored in a 33 x 33 x 42 cm pond, stirred using an agitator so that the brine temperature is evenly distributed faster and faster chilling time is achieved. Variations of agitator used are full rotation, half full rotation, and no agitator rotation. In the variation of the agitator with full rotation, the actual COP value is 3.39, COPcarnot is 4.61 so that the efficiency reaches 74%. The system with the agitator variation with half full rotation has an actual COP of 3.39, COPcarnot of 4.74 so that the efficiency reaches 71%. The system with variations without agitator rotation has an Actual COP of 3.28, a COP of Carnot of 4. 59 so that the efficiency reaches 72%. While the chilling time and electric power consumption in the variation of the agitator with full rotation at the 55th minute and electric power consumption of 0.83 kWh, the variation of the agitator with half full rotation at the 75th minute and electric power consumption of 1.01 kWh, and on variations without agitator rotation in the 90th minute and electricity consumption of 1.1 kWh. From data collection and analysis, agitators with full rotation variations are more effectively used in this tool to improve system performance and save more electricity because chilling time is achieved faster. the variation of the agitator with half full rotation at the 75th minute and the electric power consumption of 1.01 kWh, and the variation without the agitator rotation at the 90th minute and the electric power consumption of 1.1 kWh.
